Pressed Juicery is a leading brand for cold-pressed juice and functional wellness, with 110+ stores in the US and online sales nationwide. As Sr. Digital Designer, I redesigned their homepage to improve UX and boost conversions. I also designed email campaigns, illustrations, and paid social.

Problem Statement

 

Previous Homepage Analytics

Analysis of the previous homepage design

• Pressed Customers are making fewer transactions directly from the homepage.

• Customers don’t browse the content and are confused in relation to the Pressed product offering which shows low visibility to the different types of categories.


• Pressed Juicery needs a homepage redesign to better address their customer’s needs and therefore drive move conversions from the homepage.

Exits: 9,247 is the number of times visitors exited the website from the homepage (21% of Pageviews)

Scroll Depth: 75% of visitors reach the content squares but are not encouraged to click it.

Content Squares: Even with the first content square being promo-heavy, users are not drawn to click it.

Visual hierarchy: The current layout lacks purpose and is not flexible enough.

The new homepage design features a dedicated space for limited edition product announcements, catering to Pressed Juicery's fast-fashion-forward approach. This showcases exclusive offerings, creating anticipation and encouraging repeat visits, enhancing the user experience.

 
 
 

Results

Page Views From 9,247 to 11,888

The increase in page views helped improve the performance of the new homepage. The new design encouraged visitors to explore the website more, resulting in more interaction with the content and products.

Bounce Rate From 47% to 41%

The redesigned homepage, which features a more modern layout and user-friendly interface, has resulted in a significant reduction in bounce rate. This indicates that users are now more engaged with the site and find the content more interesting.

Conversion Rate from 1.3% to 1.6%

An intuitive and visually appealing design encouraged visitors to take action. Strategic call-to-action button placement, clear product displays with prices, and an enhanced shopping experience contributed to this success.

 

Paid Social

The design of the ads for the paid social strategy on Instagram was centered around creating compelling visuals and persuasive messaging to build awareness and drive traffic to the newly redesigned website. By crafting targeted ad campaigns that resonate with our audience's interests and demographics, we strategically placed these visually engaging ads to maximize visibility and user engagement.

 
 
 

Illustrations

To support the website, email marketing and other marketing collaterals, I created captivating illustrations that to further enrich the visuals and reinforce the brand’s identity concept of “Farm to bottle”. With a hint of whimsical charm and strategically placed solid color shapes to add depth.
